Well I've decided to use Sunday's as a day of reflection, prayer and a day for everyone to catch-up if you have fallen behind. I think this is something that shall be quite appreciated in this micro-community. As we read more and more I am really getting the feel that this is becoming more than I had hoped it to be in my own life. I am starting to see minor changes within my life so far. Even small things such as not judging people. That would definitely stem from Jesus' teachings. Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself. There are man times in the past week where I can recall seeing someone I would have called a "tool" or some other word even a week ago. But as I continue to grow in God's message I feel like I'm fine tuning my brain. Where as in past communities I've been submersed in there was a large focus on finding negativity in things. I can now feel that with everyday I am trying harder and harder to look for the good on a consistent basis, and it is becoming easier and easier to find the good. As this goes with finding it in people it can only be surmised that this will eventually lead to finding it in all aspects of life.
God,
I pray for this community. That as we continue to read Your word together we all continue to grow. Praise to you for bringing me back into this community and for the people you have also led into ORB as well. Thank you for Andy and all the time and effort he is putting into this project with us. Thank you for everyone who is reading and commenting, but I pray that more people join us as we continue to read. But most importantly, thank you for Your Son, the Bible, and the ability to read of his life and sacrifice.
Amen.
Happy Sunday Everybody,
